Delegation from Peruvian Government Visited Three Gorges Project and CISPDR

  Recently, Martin Vizcarra, the Peruvian First Vice-President, and Gilbert Violeta Lopez, Chairman of the country’s ruling party, together with their accompanying officials, visited the Three Gorges Project, as an temporary decision added to the agenda of accompanying their President’s visit to China. In accordance with the orders from the Department of Latin American and Caribbean Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, CISPDR made arrangements for the Peruvian delegation’s visit to the Three Gorges Dam and CISPDR. At 7:30-8:00 a.m. on September 14, 2016, the delegation toured CISPDR’s exhibition hall. 

  During their visit, Academician Niu Xinqiang briefed them on CISPDR’s history, strong technical team, honors, achievements, etc., with a focus on the overview and benefits of the Three Gorges Project and the Middle Route Project of South-to-North Water Transfer. Academician Niu also promised that CISPDR would try its best to conduct the water resources planning in Southern Peru with the best practice.

  After listening intensively to Academician Niu’s introduction, the delegation showed great interest and kept asking for further information from time to time. At the end of the visit, they recognized CISPDR as one of the leaders among Engineering firms  and a trustworthy partner as well.
