Experts Team from World Bank Checks the Progress of Upper Arun Project in Nepal

On March 29th, 2018, World Bank has send its experts team to Nepal and checks the progress of CISPDR's consultancy services for Upper Arun Hydropower Project, being accompanied by Upper Arun Project Company of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).

 

Project department from CISPDR reported to the World Bank experts team on issues including project commencement, site survey, investigation progress, data collection, follow-up work plan, staff arrangement, requests to the client and other works for Upper Arun Hydropower Project and Ikhuwa Khola Hydropower Project.

 

World Bank experts team gave high remarks to the completed services performed by CISPDR's project department, stating that the site surveys are fruitful and the field works are properly scheduled. The experts team further appraised that CISPDR is technically reliable for that the company has already successfully carried out mega projects like the Three Gorges Project, South to North Water Transfer Project and numerous other oversea hydropower projects.
